West coast rave crew credited with bringing England's acid house scene to the US, Wicked Sound System, are playing a special 25 year anniversary party in Brooklyn on Friday, October 21. The event will take place at a secret location, and it is co-presented by New York promoters Blkmarket Membership, Listed Productions, Tom Mello, and SOUP NYC.

Wicked was originally founded in San Francisco in 1991, and the crew currently consists of three of its five original members: DJs Garth, Jenö, and Markie Mark. They are known for their Full Moon parties, which paired the crew's experience in London's acid house scene with sound system culture with outdoor festivities. This combination laid out a blueprint for decades of American rave culture to come, and the crew's sound system was used at Burning Man in 1995.

You can RSVP for the location and other information by emailing Wicked25YearsRSVP@gmail.com.
