No big surprises here.

The Chainsmokers' first album, Memories… Do Not Open, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album earned 221,000 equivalent album units, with 166,000 of that total in traditional album sales. Memories… Do Not Open bumped Drake's "mixtape" More Life from the top slot.

The band's previous two EPs, Collage and Bouquet, peaked at number six and number 31, respectively.

According to Billboard, Memories… Do Not Open was the first album to top both the Billboard 200 and the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart simultaneously in more than three years. The last album to achieve that feat was Lady Gaga's ARTPOP, which debuted in November 2013.

Last week, we wrote about how the Chainsmokers are selling a mirage and everyone is buying.
