English producer Joshua Leary a.k.a. Evian Christ will release his debut album this year on Warp Records, according to a new tweet from Sonár Festival that has since been retweeted by the artist.

Since releasing his debut mixtape Kings And Them and an all-original 20 minute mix "Duga-3" in 2012, the artist has kept his release schedule relatively lean. In 2014 he released the Waterfall EP on Tri Angle, while last year 2016 he produced the Danny Brown Atrocity Exhibition LP cut "Pneumonia," and also remixed Bala Club co-founder Kamixlo on his recent Angelico EP.

Leary has also collaborated with visual artist David Rudnick in throwing an event series called Trance Party since 2014, with the most recent iteration taking place in December at London's Corsica Studios.

He will play Sónar this year alongside Arca, DJ Shadow, Soulwax and more. The festival will take place in Barcelona from June 15–17.
