New York producer Drew Lustman, aka FaltyDL, shared a new track today from his forthcoming sixth album, Heaven is for Quitters, ahead of its October 21 release on Lustman's Blueberry Records.

The track, titled "Frigid Air," is a collaboration with Planet Mu label head and Aphex Twin collaborator Mike Paradinas, aka µ-Ziq, who Lustman called his "good friend." Lustman has released three of his FaltyDL albums on Planet Mu, in addition to a number of EPs, and according to his interview with The FADER, Paradinas personally worked with him on tracklisting and LP edits.

Contrary to its title, "Frigid Air" is inviting with its warm chords and frolicking, springtime melodies. "It almost didn't make the cut, in fact," Lustman told The FADER. "It would be really fun to rent a place near [Paradinas] and try and make a more substantial record together." Listen to it below.

In a press release, Lustman says Heaven is for Quitters is "at its core, about dealing with yourself, both the good and the bad. I share this album with the hope that it can be used by others as I have; a guide, a blanket, a reassurance that the path I have chosen is the right one. It is my job to share my experience and there is a lot of work to be done here on Earth, the thought of going to Heaven too early is paralyzing." It features additional guest spots from vocalists Hannah Cohen and Rosie Lowe.
