After releasing his well-received sophomore album Potential earlier this year, The Range (aka James Hinton) has shared details of Superimpose, a behind-the-scenes documentary looking at the making of the record. Directed by Daniel Kaufman, the film follows the Brooklyn-based producer as he travels to Kingston, Jamaica, New York, and London, in search of the people behind the YouTube videos he sampled vocals from.

He's also announced an accompanying seven-track EP, which features songs from Potential and new material. Both the film and soundtrack will be available digitally Aug. 4, with select screenings in Los Angeles, New York, and London in early August.
