Bop Makes Glitchy Drum and Bass for Astronauts

It sounds like what Icicle listens to when he takes a bath. Or what Enei thinks silence is. And you can download it here.

Hospital Records are a label on the move. After launching their US operations in Los Angeles recently, their intrepid Med School imprint trekked all the way to Saint Petersburg, Russia, to uncover Bop, a producer with an wholly novel sound palate that merges glitch, IDM, techno tones, and drum & bass.

The track above, titled "The Backbone Flute," sounds like what Icicle listens to when he takes a bath. Or what Enei thinks silence is. It's clear from the onset that there's some next-level ideas going into this tunage. Additionally, Bop has a dog named Booyaka and only eats fruit.

The tune is off of his upcoming album Punks Not Dead. Check it out at the Hospital Records store or iTunes. In the meantime, you can download the track above for free. Free, I tell ya!
