Veteran Los Angeles-based DJ, Jesse Rose, announced today that he will retire from producing and DJing next year. To mark the occasion he will go on a world tour and release a final album, Alright Mate, in February. It will be the A-SIDED and Play It Down label boss' fourth studio LP, following 2014's The Whole Twelve Inches. In January of this year, Rose released his mix for the Fabriclive series.

Rose issued a statement about his retirement on Facebook. "I can honestly say I feel blessed to have been a part of this scene," he said. "I will always love DJing and making music but there comes a time when your body doesn't enjoy it as much as your mind."

While details are currently sparse on the tour, his management confirmed that it will involve performance from Rose's friends and collaborators in the dance music world, with more information about it due to arrive early next year.

Rose added: "As hard as it to say goodbye I'm really excited to release this final album, play some great shows to support it and then get to meet up with a massive bunch of my friends, collaborators and heroes on this final tour."
