The 8th edition of the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival (BEMF), which took place from November 5 to 8, hosted pre-parties, daytime panels, and live sets across eight venues in Williamsburg—along with a slew of after-hour raves. We ran around the city covering the marquee acts: Armand Van Helden torching Verboten with his signature house-heavy sound; 24-year-old Jersey Club ambassador Nadus celebrating his Broke City EP at Baby's All Right; Floating Points debuting his electrifying live show in the US at the Music Hall of Williamsburg; and Brooklyn promoters Bushwick A/V throwing a dope, 12-hour, techno-fueled warehouse afterparty with Volvox, Mark Henning, Myroslaw Bytz and O.BEE.
