Dirtybird Signs Kill Frenzy Doppelgänger Will Clarke

The Bristolian's tune "The Goog" is a perfect fit for that frisky bird.

"My name is Will Clarke. I write house music and I have a beard," says the hirsute Bristolian talent who's just signed a two-track release titled "The Goog/Boogie Woogie" to world-beating West Coast house posse Dirtybird. The label fits Clarke's sound like a finely tailored glove, as perfectly evidenced by the b-side, of which we've got the exclusive above.

"Dirtybird has been a huge influence from day one," explains Clarke. "I first got hooked when I heard Tim Green's "Kitch In" and since then, the majority of artists I take influence from have had some relation to Dirtybird."

Speaking of some relation to Dirtybird, we're convinced that Clarke is Kill Frenzy's less evil doppelgänger. "I think when we meet, we'll have the secret beard appreciation conversation and everyone will feel left out," he laughs. "You have to treat your beard with love and care. It gets shampooed, conditioned, oiled and the moustache gets some wax to keep it looking slick."
