Mister Saturday Night Announce Compilation to Celebrate 250 Parties

The two Brooklyn promoters Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin behind local favorite Mister Saturday Night announced today that they will release a new compilation to celebrate throwing 250 parties. The tracks on the Mister Saturday Night: Then and Now span styles, scenes, and eras, and are intended capture the sound MSN has developed since they started throwing parties in 2009.

Marcellus Pittman, Falty DL, and ESB are just a few of the names featured on the 14-track release. The party it celebrates, Mister 250, will take place at Carter and Harkin's Nowadays venue in Ridgewood on Sunday, June 25. Entry to the party will be free before 5 PM if you RSVP.

"While we've never been ones for anniversaries or birthdays, throwing our two-hundred-and-fiftieth party at the venue we've been building from the ground up feels like something worth celebrating," Carter and Harkin said on the Mister Saturday Night blog. "So today we're bringing in our friend Jeff Ralston to decorate Nowadays for the occasion; we're packing record bags full of Mister Sunday and Saturday Night classics; and we're lining up surprises. (We do a mean surprise.)"

The compilation will be released on June 30 in mixed and unmixed versions, available on LP, CD, and digital formats.
