This morning, Canadian hip-hop superstar Drake released two new songs—"One Dance" featuring Wizkid & Kyla, and "Pop Style" featuring The Throne, aka Jay-Z and Kanye West—and, like usual, got the attention of the entire internet. If you've been listening all day and wondering where that infectious piano house sample on "One Dance" came from, we've got your answer: it's UK outfit Crazy Cousinz's 2008 UK funky remix of Kyla's bassline track "Do You Mind."

This is not the first time Drake has shown love for UK music. In fact, he's been referencing it fairly regularly since 2011, when he first repurposed a line from English artist Sneakbo on Take Care cut "Cameras / Good Ones Go Interlude." This February he signed to BBK, the seminal grime collective and label founded by scene veterans JME and Skepta back in 2005.

In March, Glasgow producer Hudson Mohawke claimed that Drake and Kanye still owe him money for beats; meanwhile, Mixpak-affiliated artist Murlo recently gave "Work," his collaboration with Rihanna, the icy, grime-inflected remix we've been waiting for.
