Last year, the American born and Brussels-based musician Christina Vantzou released her lush and contemplative double-LP N°3 on the long-running electronic music label Kranky. Now Vantzou has announced 3.5, an EP of remixes that will include contributions from Ex-Emeralds member Steve Hauschildt, tantric modulist Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (Lichens), synthesist John Also Bennett from the electronic trio Forma, as well as many others.

In preparation for the release, the Boiler Room has posted Hauschildt's remix of Vantzou's "Stereoscope." Where her original was cathartic and uplifting, like a life departing the earth, in Hauschildt's hands, it becomes regal and celestial, as if that life has joined the heavens as a constellation. Give both of them a listen below the tracklist.

3.5 will be released on March 18 via Vantzou's Bandcamp.

3.5 tracklist

1. Stereoscope (Steve Hauschildt remix)
2. Valley Drone (Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe "Plateau" remix)
