Eats Everything’s “Veronica Electronica” is a Spiraling Tube Slide into Dancefloor Delirium

It's the Bristol producer's first appearance on his Edible label.

Last year, Bristol producer and DJ Dan Pearce, aka Eats Everything, launched his new label, Edible, in partnership with Nick Harris. In the 11 months since its creation, the imprint has released EPs from artists including Lord Leopard, Lauren Lane, and Rhythm Masters—but only now will it finally be graced by the presence of the boss himself.

Eats's Girl Powder EP marks Edible's sixth release, and his first since January (though he's been plenty busy in the months between with a go at the 86th installment of fabric's mix series and remixes for Green Velvet, Catz 'n Dogz, and Booka Shade). The new two-tracker includes peak-time club stomper "Veronica Electronica," a slippery tube slide spiraling into dancefloor delirium with blood-pressure-raising rave sirens. The commanding lead vocal will have listeners questioning their own sanity—"You may find yourself on Sunday," it declares, "in the shower, in your pajamas, in the fridge with a blank stare, in the park at sunrise, in a photograph you don't remember, in need of a hug, in space and time, having an existential moment on the first train home."

Listen to "Veronica Electronica" below ahead of the Girl Powder EP's release on October 21 via Edible.
