New York record label UNO has announced its latest signing, Cryptolect, who will release her new The Marrow of My Bones EP tomorrow via the imprint's Giveitaway free download series.

Ahead of the EP's release, the Fatima Al Qadiri-approved producer born Sanyu Nicolas has shared one of its tracks, "Punished." Weaving together ominous textured layers, from the spectral vocal chops and shrill synths to its gravelly undertones and sorrow-filled chords, it's simultaneously haunting and energetic, like if the underworld threw a wild warehouse rave.

On Facebook, Nicolas writes, "This song is about feeling melted down, mistreated and forlorn… being confused about existence and feeling the individual elements of life difficult to distinguish or find purpose… but to be solidified again one day… by even the smallest special moment… a bit misshapen, but beautiful still."
