Last year, the experimental footwork producer Jerilynn Patton, aka Jlin, released both a fantastic debut album Dark Energy, as well as the stunning Free Fall EP. Now she's back with a new track that's a both a clear indicator that she's neither slowing down nor getting soft.

With "Untitled (2016)" Jlin shifts gears from the busy beat work she's known for by slowing down the BPM, and giving air to dial-tone melodies and masterfully deploying vocal samples all within a track that stops short of two minutes. It's a cut that will definitely leave you wanting more, and if it's a sign of things to come, we can't wait. Listen to it below.

Jlin will be performing at SXSW on March 19 for On the Sly's official Showcase at Valhalla bar.
