Los Angeles born-and-bred producer Karman today shared a pensive new mix saturated with with soaring, romantically-attuned melodic arrangements. Titled "When The Sun Fell," the mix brings together recent work by Young Thug, an unforgettable 2010 Night Slugs classic, several skittering grime variations, and more. While its tone is certainly somber, Karman told THUMP via email that hopefully it can facilitate genuine emotional connection between people.

"Go out when it's dark while we still can," he said. "Enjoy life and music and your friends, appreciate it all. This is a new year and a new spring, but it seems like the world isn't flowering - it's getting darker, withering, and we're going backward. But we need to create and stick together, and dance because those are the things that will forever make us truly happy."

On February 19 he'll open for Palmistry at The Echo in Los Angeles.
