L.A. Club Resource Announces New Compilation, Stream Track by Chicago House Legend Gene Hunt

Delroy Edwards' label serves up yet another solid outing from Mr. Hunt.

California producer Delroy Edwards and his label L.A. Club Resource have been incredibly blessed to do multiple releases with Chicago house legend Gene Hunt. Last year the label put out a reissue of Hunt's classic single "Freddy's Dead" with an unreleased track on the B-side, as well as another single called "Pandemonium" containing all unreleased material (although the title track was released in a different, shorter version in 1995 on Hunt's Wild Dance EP).

Supposedly blessings come in threes, so today we're sharing yet another Hunt banger for the label. You can literally judge "Ow (Drum Beat)" by its title because those two sounds are all you're gonna get, but in the hands of this man, they're wielded to great effect to evoke an electrified, creepy atmosphere. It will see release on a forthcoming L.A. Club Resource compilation LACR Comp. Vol. 1 due October 20, also featuring tracks from Edwards himself (as Blacktail), relative unknown Wrecking Project, and recent signee Innyster. Stream the single below, and check out the album artwork and tracklist after the jump.
