There's a new Dutch techno talent in town, and his name is Joran van Pol. He's already caught the attention of elder tech-toting statesmen like Richie Hawtin and Dubfire, who signed his EPs for their respective Minus and SCI+TEC labels. Now he's found a friend in fellow countryman Joris Voorn, who included the title track from van Pol's Exist EP in his insane 65-track mix CD for the fabric series in August. You can hear that cut here in full—an extra-minimal tech-house roller with big, growling basslines and plenty of spooky, cinematic ambience. It's out now as a three-tracker via Voorn's Rejected imprint.
