MSTRKRFT Remixed A-Trak’s “Parallel Lines” Into a Teeth-Grinding Big Room Thumper

Back in March, A-Trak premiered fellow Canadian bloghouse survivors MSTRKRFT's first new music in five years on his Beats1 show, so it's not surprising that he's now enlisted them to remix his latest single "Parallel Lines." The Toronto duo have twisted the track into something far tougher and aggressive than the melodic original version, while keeping most of Phantogram's airy dance pop vocals.

"When you see the words 'MSTRKRFT Remix,' you know that automatically goes in your crate," explained the Fool's Gold boss in a press release. "I've been friends with these guys for nearly 10 years. I remixed them once before. This is the first time they've remixed me, and Jesse was sending me iPhone videos filmed from their studio-slash-farm while they were working on it. Needless to say, I'm psyched."
