Oliver Dollar Kicks Off His New Industry Standard Label with Stompy Detroit Collab "Shout Away"

Even with a sample from "Gimme Shelter," you won't be able to hide from this one in the club.

Oliver Dollar, the Berlin artist formally known as Oliver$, has some big news for us all. After a stellar showing in 2014 with one of the year's biggest underground jams, his collaboration with Jimi Jules "Pushin' On" (which you may have heard a snippet of in the new Entourage movie), Dollar is back with a fresh track and a newly minted label called Industry Standard. The first track to be released on his label bares the name "Shout Away," and is a dark and dirty collaboration with Detroit house artist Chuck Daniels, recently made in the Motor City during this year's Movement festival.

"Starting my own label is something I've always wanted to do and right now it just feels like the right time. The biggest thing for me is to not put something out just for the sake of it, but have loads of quality control and only put stuff out that I'm really into—really underground stuff you know?" says Dollar about this new label.

As far as the new tune, it's totally on-brand with Dollar's style of stompy house rhythms, and even revolves around a sample of the Rolling Stones' seminal rock anthem, "Gimme Shelter," pulling lines from the song's chorus to create a newfound dancefloor monster that should be invading your local nightclub this summer.

Get locked in Dollar's latest jam, and keep your eyes and ears open for a slew of new singles the artist tells us are on the way.
