Pye Corner's Remix of Solar Bears's "Wild Flowers" Turns Their Psychedelic Landscape into a Dance Floor

As we previously reported, Solar Bears are gearing up for the release of Advancement, their new album which comes out next week. To add to the fanfare, the Irish duo recently shared (via Complex) a remix by another fellow psych musician.

The UK-based Pye Corner Audio, who composes pulsing drone and noise work, has taken the duo's electro-psych track "Wild Flowers" and transformed its slowly brewed groove into a steadier four-on-the-floor beat. PCA's remix maintains the futuristic flair of Solar Bears's sound, matching their warm synth swirls with a bass drum beat that seems pulled from an old magnetic tape recording. Listen to it below.

Advancement, which is currently streaming on Hype Machine, is out with Irish Best on March 18.
