Schwarz and Gurl Crush have teamed up on "Want 2 Release," a track about "posi escapism" out today on Schwarz's Nina Pop label. "Posi escapism" is the kind of escapism that happens "when things feel tough and you find yourself daydreaming about pushing through all of your obstacles and becoming this really powerful being," explains Gurl Crush, whose dreamy vocals are a perfect complement to Schwarz's wobbly, sugary beats.

"I made this track when I was listening to a lot of UK bassline tracks, specifically 'Heartbroken' by T2 ft. Jodie and this obscure Red Hot Chili Peppers bootleg remix," Schwarz elaborates. " I knew Gurl Crush's voice would kill it. DJ Demasiado and JX Cannon both made the most mind-blowing remixes of the track. I was practically jumping up and down with excitement after hearing both of them for the first time. So incredibly hyped to share." Listen to the uplifting track and its two remixes below.
