This "Meme DJ" Terrifyingly Remixed Smash Mouth's "All Star," And Every Note Is C

The discography of DJ Vagidictoris also includes an impressive vaporwave remix of Rick Astley.

Smash Mouth's "All Star" is one of those rare productions that's both universally hated and loved, depending on who you ask and what they've had for breakfast that day. Having said that, any attempt to remix the song is probably just as equally polarizing as the track itself. Enter Vagidictoris: a lewdly monikered SoundCloud jack-of-all-trades who's been responsible for a plethora of bizarre and clever reimaginings of popular music from the likes of Daft Punk, Pink, Skrillex, and the rick roll king himself, Mr. Rick Astley, whose biggest hit received its very own vaporwave remix.

For his rework of "All Star," which was aptly dropped right before the first days of 2017, Vagidictoris decided to keep things somewhat simple: he edited the song so every note is c. Beyond a couple of added sounds and FX, that's pretty much all he did—somehow it kind of works. Much like the original itself, this version will delight and also piss you off at the same time. Check it out below, and here's to a new year of memes, and meme DJs.
