Dense & Pika are known for thunderous club tracks that truly test speaker stacks by doubling down on thudding bass drums. The duo of Chris Spero (aka Glimpse) and Hypercolour co-founder Alex Jones first showed off their monolithic kick drum sound on a series of anonymous EPs before offering up the same service on remixes for Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg, Digitalism, Maya Jane Coles, X-Press 2 and most notably, Paul Woolford's "Erotic Discourse," which won critical accolades for its shattering revisions.

Today, the pair have applied their club-leveling craft once again on a remix of Tiga's recently revealed "Planet E" collaboration with Hudson Mohawke. Where the original counts on crafty vocal processes and bubbling electro textures to make its mark, the D&P version comes crushing in like someone let an AT-AT loose in the club. It's dragging along behind it some wobbly bass lines, laser blast synths and pressure-valve-release hisses that sound ridiculous when you describe them in words, but are unbelievably effective on the dance floor.

Both versions of "Planet E" are now out ahead of Tiga's third full-length album, No Fantasy Required, which drops on March 4 on Counter Records, and will also feature collaborations with Scissor Sisters, Paranoid London, and Matthew Dear. Listen here and check out Tiga's upcoming tour dates.
