In the early 90s, two guys by the name of Felix Dickinson and Jaime Read formed a kinship fueled on their immersion in the UK party scene; a climate propelled on the back end of London's infamous Summer of Love where massive, illegal raves and a lot of pissed off police reigned surpreme. Dickinson, an early protege of DJ Harvey, rightfully specialized in a splattering of balearic and disco, while Read first caught acclaim for creating deep house sounds under the alias L.H.A.S. (Larry Heard Appreciation Society.)
