John Malkovich (Sort Of) Hunts Down Tommy Trash In HARD's New Day of The Dead Trailer

As the big Halloween festival approaches, watch this Being John Malkovich-spoofing trailer to get ever-more psyched.

HARD Events doesn't limit their promotional efforts to glitzy lineups thrown on top of a photoshopped jpeg. Instead, they thrive in high production value trailers to get people psyched in a whole new way. Ahead of their Day Of The Dead 2015 event held at the Pamona Fairplex from October 31-November 1, set to feature everyone from Deadmau5 to Future, they've released a trailer written and directed by Agata Alexander, who's responsible for many of HARD's past trailers, as well as music videos for the likes of The Bloody Beetroots and Dillon Francis.

The trailer stars a vacuum cleaner inhabited by the spirit of John Malkovich (riffing off of Spike Jonze's classic 1999 film) zipping through a haunted house, consulting stars like Skrillex, who's found lounging in a decadent bubble bath. We also get a glimpse of Destructo, AKA HARD head honcho Gary Richards, in search of clues in order to find and destroy his nemesis, Tommy Trash.

Despite the not-so-funny gay fellatio joke toward the end, it's worth a watch. Check it out above, and get your tickets for the event here.
