Muneshine's "Sunshine" Premiere Is a Druggy Dystopia

Sex, Drugs, and Future House

Muneshine's video premiere of "Sunshine" (LCAW Remix) is all about light and dark—real and artificial. Wandering through a rundown, urban cityscape, the flickering rays of the sun take on a double meaning as both sign and substance.

Directed by R.J. Sanchez, whose other videos such as Carnage's "Back That" and Oliver Heldens' "Can't Stop" achieve a similarly bad ass, street style aesthetic, "Sunshine" is a visually enthralling bit of cinema. The characters' erratic sex-drugs-and-future house-infused adventure is the perfect juxtaposition with the sultry, mature sounds of Muneshine, LCAW, and featured vocalist Grimm. It's the anti-anti drug video that will piss off suburban mothers, health teachers, and country music fans alike.
