Women's History Month is off to a banging start thanks to Jersey club artist UNIIQU3, who today shared a dance video for her new single shouting out independent women.

"The Anthem," as it's so aptly titled, sees UNIIQU3 fire off bars such as "From the clothes to the shoes to the ring that I rock, I work really hard for all the things that I cop," in what sounds like a club-friendly, modern-day version of Destiny's Child's 2001 hit "Independent Women, Pt. 1." (Even the choral refrain "Throw your hands up" seems like a nod to the chart-topping feminist track.) In the music video above, she storms a skate park while Jersey club dancer LifeofQueee shows off some serious moves.

"I wanted to make a bossy song that girls could mosh and rage to," UNIIQUE wrote on Facebook upon sharing the single. She later told FADER, "This song is all about being a boss from the club to the workplace and not needing a man for anything—I wanted to hear more of that in dance music so I made 'The Anthem.'"
