Watch Bok Bok and Sweyn Jupiter's Woozy New Video for "Papaya Lipgloss"

A hyperreal space populated by Yamaha keyboards, swirling neon fog and, of course, assorted papayas.

When Bok Bok linked up with London keyboardist Sweyn Jupiter for their Papaya Lipgloss EP earlier this month, the results went down deliciously smooth. A syrupy nod to 80s funk and woozy lounge music, the track was grounded by the Night Slugs boss' stilted drumwork, which gave both weight and rhythm to the airy atmospherics. Now, the pair have released the accompanying video, which winds through a hyperreal space populated by towering servers, Roland drum machines, Yamaha keyboards, swirling neon fog and, of course, assorted papayas. The video was directed by Nic Hamilton, who previously worked on Bok Bok and Kelela's "Melba's Call," as well as videos for Actress and L-Vis 1990.
