A couple years back, like many artists trying to get their names out there, California-native Daniel Goldstein, AKA Lane 8 was tirelessly putting music out into a endless abyss of the interwebs. With early Hype Machine #1's and an array of remixes that, at times, confusingly intersected the roads of deep and summery house, it seemed like he was still trying to find his footing as an artist. Then he eventually found a home with Anjunadeep, the fast-rising offset of Above & Beyond's famed Anjunabeats label. From there, his sound changed drastically—becoming deeper, more progressive, and stylistically cohesive. He's been with the label ever since. Now Lane 8 is finally ready to release a debut album, Rise, on Anjunadeep. The first single from the album, a soulful cut entitled "Ghost" (featuring Patrick Baker) has already been released to impressive internet acclaim. Following suit with the unveiling of the single, is an exclusive full-stream of the Ghost remix EP.
