Spanish Label Riverette Lured in Kornel Kovacs to Celebrate their Tenth Release In Style

Studio Barnhus' boy wonder's turned in a suitably trippy remix.

Bear with me here: for the sake of clarity, let's all pretend that people on earth think of their birthday as the day they were released into the world, meaning that you consider each successive birthday as a release. Got it? Good. Let's continue. How did you celebrate your 10th birthday? A bottle or six of the candy floss flavored Panda Pop and a quick session on a trampoline followed by prodigious puking? Maybe you razzed round an indoor track in a slow moving go-kart. Whatever it was, we're pretty sure it wasn't as good as putting out a new Dos Attack record backed with remixes from Kornel Kovacs and Minor Science, which is what Spanish label Riverette have done.

Helmed by childhood friends Carlos and Andres (aka Dos Attack), the Madrid based imprint's made a name for itself with a string of loopy, strange, house jams that've lit up some of the best clubs on the continent over the last few years, releasing records by the likes of Legowelt, Cliff Lothar, and Medlar. For their 10th release, they've got the big boys in to remix Dos Attack's "Flue".

Kovacs' remix is another dancefloor classic from a producer's who on a roll at the moment. This one's for fans of PLO Man, the whole 1080p crew, and the spacier end of Moodymann's oeuvre. Which should be you, essentially.
