Clap! Clap! Makes World Music for Basement Raves

Peep his new video for "Kuj Yato." We're all about it.

Clap! Clap! first popped up on our radar when we premiered, "Vu," a track he collaborated on with Populous on his fellow Italian's stellar new album Night Safari. The two Italian producers piqued us immediately with their startling ability to merge world themes, found sounds, and some real bootyshakin' bass.

Now we're getting a glimpse into Clap! Clap!'s solo world with the premiere of his video for "Kuj Yato," and we really can't get enough. Yeah, there are world sounds all over this track, but this ain't your kinda-cool uncle's World Music. The video features some Mad-Maxian fire dancing, while the music is all criss-crossing chimes and 808s. Very very cool stuff.

Purchase on Vinyl or iTunes.
